Science lead and product architect for all OWT products. Conceived and directed development of the full NRT satellite and airborne portfolio; lead design of product calibration and validation. Science leader for annual NOAA P-3 hurricane and winter extratropical cyclone campaigns, designing science objectives, flight patterns, and instrument configurations. Lead developer for QuikSCAT and WindSat products. Works with NOAA partners and the commercial data sector on integration of their data into government operations. Team member since 2001.
